stupid, stupid!! well tonight i must of did the dumbest thing i have done in a while, well maybe not stupid but careless i guess. i just got done doing the brakes, rotors, padss and changing my oil after work, well i took my car out foe a ride to see if that cured my front end shake at 70+mph. so there is a nice long exit to get on the highway and i like to get on it there. so i creap in 2ed gear until i think its clear and i punch it, i go to hit 3rd and i must of hit 1st. my car starts to chatter and shake and the low trac light comes on, 2 sec. later i hit the clutch in. i hope i didnt hurt anything. has anyone had this happen? everything sounds and feels ok, could i have hurt something? sorry its so long and thanks for reading.

i was trying to shift up to 4th from 3rd the other day but accidently pulled it over to second. as soon as i heard the revs start jumping up i was back on the clutch by about 3-4000 rpms. didnt get the low trac light or shaking or anything though.

You may have bent some pushrods. That can happen when you mechanically overrev the motor like that.
