Default Does this LT1 look like a deal?

http://detroit.craigslist.org/car/312031613.html

I found this locally and was wondering if it looks like a good deal? I would like an F-body M6 for around that price but I am concerned about the mileage. Does it seem possible to find a 93+ M6 around $4,000 that is in good mechanical condition? Or am I just dreaming? Any comments are welcome.

My 95 LT1 A4 TA with 148K miles (But in GREAT condition in which it stayed mechanically until 170K when I sold it) cost $4500.

So you guys are saying I could actually get a better deal? I really want to get into an LT1 M6. I'm not looking to spend alot, just want a daily driver.

I defenatly think you could get a better deal. 170k for a 10 year old car is a lot. If you really want that one, I wouldn't pay more than $3,200 for it granted it runs well and looks decent.

This is exciting! I'm kinda getting my hopes up now. I'm just having a hard time finding an M6 near Grand Rapids, MI. I've driven around the area and checked out Autotrader and this site, is there any other ideas on where to find me a nice LT1?

Most M6 LT1's are ragged out from what I have seen. The autos tend to be in better shape. There are exceptions though.

Hopefully the "Needs TLC" is just for cleaning purposes. That one bothers me.

I don't. That is why I asked you guys about it because you will have a MUCH better idea about this car. I'm not gonna look at it now because of what you guys said. I appreciate the help guys. It's nice to have you guys take the time to help out a newbie.
