Default Backed into!

Well yesterday I was at my girlfriends house parked on the side of the street. Some 16 year old girl with just a learners permit backed all the way out of a driveway and all the way across the street right into my baby. A huge mess. So I called the cops of course. She got her tickets and a court date I just got off the phone with her dad and he says there insurance will cover it. I have to go get some estimates now. Here's some pics of the damage. What do you think it will cost to fix? Talk about bad luck. OH and on top of all that there from Russia and barely speak English and don't seem to have a lick of sense.

The fiberglass on the inside of the door is busted as you can see in this pic

That's brutal, man. I feel for you. It's jihad month on silver 'Birds. Mine got backed into a couple weeks ago. Some lady backed across a HUGE parking lot where my car was the only other freakin' car parked lol and bumped it. Luckily it only came away with a scuff on the rear bumper cover; not a massive dent in the rear quarter.

Thanks man, I got estimate today and its gonna cost around $3500 to get it fixed. There insurance is going to pay for it. (I think) New Door and qtr. They said it would take about 5 or 6 days to get done. Hopefully It will come back as good as new.

That happened to me not to long ago. I was at my gf neighbors house and she came to her door with a cop and told me. Then she gave me her insurance and everything. It's all fixed and looks good now. She hit me in the driver front quater. I was so depressed when it happened, luckly for me she was upfront and straight about it and just didn't drive off. I think it cost like 2300 to get mine fixed, probably gonna be a bit more for yours.

Sucks man, been there done that, it will all be better soon.

I've learned from my mistakes and hopefully you don't have to. You'd be wise to insist on OEM parts and preferably have it done at a Chevy dealer with a newer paint shop where they will give a lifetime warranty on the paint and workmanship.
