I am the 3rd owner, but wondered about it being listed as a "dealer vehicle" and "fleet vehicle"....what does this mean ?? Everything was stock and all body panels appear to be OEM. The car is flawless after my 2 years of ownership, but I bought the warrenty for piece of mind. I originally thought maybe the timeline of the car with the mileage that it had maybe some minor body damage/repairs due to the Alsip owner having it for 10 months and only put on 70 miles, but everything seems as stock as day 1. All the body panels look OEM, the bolts are untouched by tools, everything lines up and the paint has that factory orange peel look throughout. The dealer I bought it from had it in the inside showroom for almost 1 year ( I looked around for 1 year before going back)

Im just wondering about my cars sporadic past history.....your thoughts please....

Found this searchin the web:
Dealers sometimes opt to take ownership of a vehicle and are required to in the following states: Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and South Dakota. Please consider this as you review a vehicle's estimated ownership history.

Fleet Vehicle - Vehicle was registered or sold to a company that manages vehicle fleets.

So I guess the dealer put the car in there name to make it part of there inventory, thats what carfax defines as a fleet vehicle but not 100% sure what it means

I find cars to be a lot like women... if you're happy with them now, its best not to dig up their past.

ignorance is bliss.

LOL I guess your right, I might find something to **** me off

Thanks for the info Starz, Im starting to think they were maybe asking too much $$$ for it. The first time I looked at it it was 25k, when I went back 1 year later it was 24k, talked him down to 22.5k and drove home, the rest is LS1 history.

There is still a dealer around here with a 02 WS6 with 7k on the clock....the car has been sitting on the same lot for 3+ years at 26.5, he refuses to drop the price a dime.
