Sure as long i get copys of the work that was done so i know what to look for and get it fixed for free again.

One thing i would look for to see if the roof (sail panel) was replaced.

If GM took it back, it was forced to under the Lemon Law. Personally, I would avoid it like the plague. JMO.

I would probably not get it, but if ya want it bad enough, i would want to see all the paper work and have the car checked by a shop.

IMO, I would definitely avoid it, since you know this in advance.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! don't get it!!!

i went through this with GM. actually didn't own a GM vehicle since 2001 until this year when i got my T/A because of how bad they treated me.

they "fixed" my 01 Blazer about 10 times and STILL didn't get it right when they were forced to buy it back. it leaked water from the passenger side B pillar. that's not something you'd notice on a test drive.

stay FAR FAR FAR away from any GM buybacks. the savings is just not worth the headache you'll have in the long run whenever it hits you what's really wrong with it.

the seller says everything was fixed and or replaced under warranty, but i also know people will say anything to sell something bad enough.(already whent through that once) thats kind of why i wanted to get some opinions and see if anybody has one of these cars and how it worked out for them.

i had a similar issue with my 00 s-10 xtreme and my 02 blazer xtreme and ive seen about 5 others come in the shop with mysterious water leaks maybe there is more of an issue than i believed .most leak from the ac box clogging but ive seen atleast 5 s-series trucks 2 been mine have water leaks that could not be gotten rid of. i now no longer own s-series truck for that reason i work at a dealer and i didnt buy them brand new so buy back was not an option in that case.i just traded them in for something else
