They say their oil filter is good too.

Never before have I seen an oil filter worse than the off brand generics at Lube Express. But alas, Fram has succeeded in what I thought was not possible.

the poor quality of their #1 selling item, oil filters, makes me disbelieve anything they are ever going to make is going to be worth buying.

I would have never believed it was possible, but I gained between 5 and 8 P.S.I in oil pressure by changing from a Fram to a Mobil 1 filter. I change my oil every 1000 to 1500 miles which is about three to six months time and use Mobil 1 10 W 40.

Actually, there are 3 companies that manufacture oil filters. Fram, Purolator, and Wix. All other brands, off brands, etc. are manufactured by one of these 3 companies.

I used the fram airhog filter on my dodge ram and it increased my gas mileage.

I use the K&N Oil filter. By the SOTP dyno I'd say I gained around 5hp, not much but it was noticeable!
