I actually ran out of gas going to the gas station the other day and had to get a friend to give me some gas to make it there..but anyways I was just driving and kept driving not paying attention but the weird part is my CHECK GAUGES light never came on the whole time? Is it a 98 thing or something that they didn't come on or did the light not light up because something went wrong? anyone

yea idk but it wasnt on for me thats the weird part even though the light works fine and all i mean but it didnt come on when i was low

My 99 Trans Am has a CHECK GAGES light for when my gas gets low, but neither my 98 TA nor my 98 Firebird had one

Mine Doesn't have one..
It's a bitch too, cause If my car gets below 1/4 of a tank,
and that is barly past the 1/4 tank mark it wont run right.

My 1998 Camaro SS doesn't have a gas light. I can usually tell my gas level by the gauge
