Of course, it always helps to know what the blazes you are driving...
For my Formula, there is a stalk on the left of the steering wheel. I move a switch to "ON". When I want to enable it, I press the button on the end of the stalk. No light on my car (an oversight, IMO), but it turns on and I am cruising.

Turn it on when your crusing and set it by pushing it in - FYI if you acclerate you do not have to reset your cruise. It will automatically engine brake down to your set speed. Although when you break it deletes the cruise settings so..

1) procced to desired speed
2)At the end of the blinker stalk there will be the cruise control on/off switch. Push the button over to the right once and this will engage cruise control.
3)While still at your desired speed, and cruise control is engaged, hit the button at the end of the stalk once and let off the gas. Your car should now be cruising at the desired speed
Cliff notes
Turn it on at end of stalk
Push button at end of stalk
Car will now be in cruise

Yeah, you have to be going 35+ to set cruise. If you tap the brake or push in the clutch it will disengage the cruise. I leave the selector at "on" all the time, but that is just me. Anytime you shut the car off, or move the selector to "off" it erases that stored data.
If it works sometimes and not others, you may have a loose wire in there. If it never works I think there is a microswitch on the brake pedel that may be bad.

That is not the dumbest question ever. You have stiff competion for that. I believe "Do torques make noise?" is still the all time favorite.
Don't be afraid to ask. That's what the Newbie section is for. You won't get made fun of, more than a little, probably.

actuall its 25mph. ive tried to set it at lower speeds but 25 is finially where it engages. plus if you put the clutch in cruise control disengages.
fccs, if you have it set, pushing it to the right makes you go faster too. its fun

If you get it on make sure you hit your brakes to turn it off before you push your clutch in. I forgot my cruise was set one day and i went to push the clutch and the engine hit the limiter real quick and scared me to death. I thought i had been shot at...lol. I aint made that mistake sense.
