My '98 Vette i bought:) I'm SOO excited:) Pics inside!
Well i bought a '98 Corvette Targa. 6 speed with black leather and black paint. Has 75k miles with exhaust, intake, !cags, clutch. It was wrecked(but has a clean title as it's and EASY fix) and i plan to bring it up from the grave I got it for $10.5k and another $1,500 for ALL the parts i need from another Vette that was hit in the front. I've stripped ALL the junked parts off it except for the tub inside because i'm waiting for my parts to be here(should be this week) Anyway i've got some goodies coming like Stainless rear inserts, door sills, and my nitrous kit i bought to put in the Z28 is gonna go in the Vette with a nice 100 shot to boot Well anyway, a few have told me to throw up pics so here they are. let me know what ya think ~Cole~

And here's the damage. The rail you see bent by the tire was pulled out today and squared off. All that's left is get the tub out(easy from what i've been studying in the crash books) and put the new 1/4 and bumper on with the new lights. It didn't bend the frame rail or sway it at all. just bent the bumper support peice in and as stated it's since been pulled out and squared away.

looks like your doing a great job with her, when you finally get her back to her origin your going to feel that great feeling that you get after restoring what others have abandoned, good luck to you and you have very nice corvette

yeah some places will do that. I don't mind fixing them up They are pretty easy to work on UNLESS the frame is tweaked. It's aluminum and breaks if you pull it unless your really good. Fiberglass work is pretty easy. If you can find a wrecked Vette and it's frame isn't smashed or even if it is bent a little you can pay a shop to pull it or weld in new sections. Most times you can't even tell it's been fixed. Mine will have a rear tub put in and 1/4 and bumper. If i had bought the parts brand new i'd have about 3-4k in stuff but i got a whole rear clip from the doors back for $1500 and i don't even need the hatch and drivers 1/4 so i'll resell those for about $1k

Yeah -Freak- i can't WAIT to get it out on the road. That's why i've been pluggin' away on getting it fixed. You can see the damage from before and where it's at now. We got a long way yesterday Now it's paint, and put together. Should only take me part of a morning to put it together Painting is gonna take the longest because i wetsand in between the primer coat and paint and then when the first coat of paint is on i wetsand that and throw on a second coat. Then it's onto the clear. I want the paint to turn out as smooth as possible~Cole~
