chuckles.. bay area gangsta rap!!

if you are tuned etc.. you shouldnt have any problems at all, at least no more chance of having any problems than you would normally encounter. check a tire rack or discount tire and whatever they got thats cheap. Just if you plan on speeding, make sure they are speed rated for you, z or y.

Your cam is much bigger than mine, but I havent had any issues from long trips == driving over 300 miles in a day.

I've driven 10hrs each way to/from Florida with my H/C set-up and more recently with the new 383. No issues, but definitely check the fluids before you roll...

You'll have fun driving to cali. I drove from Massachusetts to Kansas. I had a blast ;-) But my car was stock at the time.

I dont see why i would be a issue, highway driving is better for your car than city driving.

I wouldnt drive there with the skinies just because I would want to hit up the curvy mountain roads and have some fun.

Before the 918's (and before the 915's, actually), I had a Rev spring break on me 1100 miles from home. But technology has gotten better! If your valvesprings still have plenty of life in them I'd say just check the usual... fluids, tire pressure, spare tire pressure (or full sized spare), etc.

But I was always paranoid after that incident. I always brought tools, full size hydraulic jack, spare fluids, flashlight, portable air compressor, laptop with a scan tool and/or programmer, etc.

i wish i had all those extra tools lol..i dont even have my spare anymore..guess ill just carry a prostar with me LOL... well the springs have bout 2-3k miles total on them..they are dual springs..i think they should still be pretty good. i just changed the oil, and im pretty sure the coolant is topped off..gotta check the others.
