I had only seen a 6 banger running around my town before and decided i HATED that color. Fast forward to now, im selling my Formy and was driving in Evansville IN, and saw a sport gold 98 Z28 for sale, and i thought oh my god i FREAKING LOVE THAT COLOR!!! Now ima big fan of it. It seems everyone i talk to either absolutly hates it or absoultly loves it. So what do you think of it.

BTW It was a 98 a4, 100,000 miles, good shape, $7500. Might take a stab at it if my Formy sells.

it needs an SS spoiler. I happen to fall into the LOVE category. I'd jump on that. For $7,500.Any pics of it? Then upgrade to some 17"/18" rims and your golden(no pun intended) . Maybe some black racing stripes Oh the fun you can have with the Sport Gold Metallic. A Gold/black combo could look sweet. Maybe some black with polished lip Z06 rims or ZR1's. But my vote is if you LOVE that color then you should get it. Plus it's RARE as hell. One of the most rare colors i believe, maybe THE most rare.

Nah im gonna go look at it again next week. I may have the Formy sold so we'll just have to see. Ill post pics when i get em. It does have the factory sport appearance package, and to be honost i hate the looks of that. But i would just take it off.

That color is kind of what made me look into f-bodies...I had always thought f-bodies were out of my price range until I saw a gold 98 M6 Z28 with 108k for sale in very good condition for a mere $5800. I didn't have my current car sold at the time or else I would have snatched it up.

Well imo there's a big difference between a v6 and a v8 due to the face that the v6's roof is going to be gold also. Where as the z28 will have the black top.

A guy in my old neighborhood had a gold z28 like that with black racing stripes... I always thought that car looked sick.

Its a color that doesnt look good stock. Lower it, add some nice rims and a black stripe somewhere and I think it would look good.

There's a V-6 one that lives down the street from me. It's the only one I've ever sceen, but I don't really like it.

Heres mine.I didnt really like it when I first saw it.I thought about getting it painted numerous times,but I kept it SMG because its rare.

These pics are old and in a week it will have TTMs(black and chrome).Its going through an upgrade stage this month,so ive been pretty busy.

The pipes were Slowmaster(the pics),but now its Magnaflow.

Its true....its either LOVE or HATE.Everyone Ive met is one or the other.




Its all in the light,how it looks.The sun really makes it look sweet.
Its an LS1 and its gonna haul *** soon,and thats all that matters to me.
