Normal for car to be unbarable without AC on?
I was just wondering if you guys consider your F-body's cabin temp to be rather hot if you don't turn the A/C on or at least crack the windows. I have been driving my accord around and am used to just cracking the passenger window for a slight ventilation.
In my camaro I have to either roll down both windows and drive on the highway, or turn the A/C on full blast. Why do they get so hot? If i was ever brave enough to drive it in the winter, I sure as hell wouldn't need to turn the heater on lol.

If you have T-Tops yes it does get rather hot... i always have to have at least the windows down if not the A/C. If you are a hard top i don't think it would be near as bad.

I absolutly must have the AC on during the day, is has been extremely hot here the past few months.... evening i can roll with the windows down and night also, but yes i have to start my car, open all the doors to get hte heat out in the afternoon. I also have leather and T tops so this must play into it.

amen thats how mine is, when i get in it's like opening an oven... seriously.... a huge wave of HEAT just blast out at you and you have to wait a minut to get in, then roll windows down and A/C on full for like 5 minuts befor even thinking about putting windows back up

I have T-tops and tan fabric interior. I haven't put the a/c back in since I swapped the motor. As long as it's not raining, I do T-tops and windows down. But it sucks when it's warm and rains.

window tint helped me out alittle, but there is no getting away from the sun baking everything through the T-Tops unless you put the T-Top shades up to block it. but there is no getting away from humidity though no matter what you do.

If I keep my t-top shades on in the summer and use a windshield cover, I can drive home with them down fine. I prefer to since I like to hear my own exhaust (and smell it I guess), but I don't like my AC dripping near my headers, or whatever it is I hear it hiss on when it drips.
