Default What should I offer?

First off I live in NJ an I am 16 No drivers liscence for a 1 year - 4 days. I have been into fbodies since for ever..

The car is a 99 trans am with a ram air hood, No idea if its a real ws6 or not..

63,000 miles, 6spd car is not stock, from the pictures it has a lid, and a fast intake, I cant see the manifolds/headers, or the tips..

They want 13,900 for it

I would want it for about 12,000 flat.

I hope i can get this, its my dream car.

What do you mean by I am 16 No drivers liscence for a 1 year - 4 days? I would get alot of info about the car before you even make an offer. even 12 flat for a 63000 99 TA is high especially if its not even a ws6. Do some research man, take your time, there are lots out there, and looks like you are buying a modded one, make sure its not beat like a red headed ****.

In nj You get a permit at 16, I just turned 16 on the 8th, and at 17 you get a provisional drivers liscence. KBB lists it at 12,900 in excellent condition. Im in no rush, I need to find a job before I buy another car.

LOL, ok. if KBB lists it like that they are pretty accurate, but look at the RPO #'s on the driver door. Make sure that the codes match up to the car. Dont get taken. And good luck with your insurance.

it doesnt run, the 406 is headless on a stand and the car is un registered and motorless, I have to clear the engine bay, and then paying a mechanic to help me finish the motor, so i know its done right. should be a nice 11 second car, if i have a decent 60 and a strong rear.

Very nice, sweet ride. You are going to have some runners in your barn. Good luck. Keep us updated with the future purchase. Get some more info.

it has
fast intake
lid
qtd headers(probably qtp's..)
12 bolt and 4:11's
hotchkis swaybars
borla
sfc's
spec stage 3
koni alstons
eibach springs
baer rotors 4 piston calipers

and

232/238 cam

I have no idea if the cam would be good for daily driving, and it looks like its not a real ws6. its got c5 z06's black polished lip and drag radial in the back.

what should I offer?

If I was selling a 13,900 for a car I would probably go no lower than 13,000. If it books for 12,900 offer them 12,500 and tell them to take it or leave it. If you really want the car and can afford it I would offer 13. Make sure you check on insurance and stuff though because it can be rather pricey on f-bodys.
