what is needed to build your own car and make it road legal

I have bunch of parts sitting around How to make a homemade car. street legal.

Call your local DMV. there are regulations that control the registration of kit and one off custom cars.

If you have enough parts sitting around to make a car then you are a pack rat and need to have one hell of a yard sale
