subframe connector bolts, threadlock or antiseize?????

Default subframe connector bolts, threadlock or antiseize?????

hey guys im getting in my sfc tomarow and jus wanna know if i should use antizeize or threadlock on the bolts? thanks

You gotta' weld those things in-anything that's screwed tight will just get loose again. Is welding not an option for you?

i would weld them suckers in as said above post they will come loose again if bolted in.

I'd use the "red" version of the thread locker. The kind that really locks the bolt in place.

No need to weld or use thread locker. But if you want to use something, I'd go with Loctite.

I've had SLP bolt-on SFCs for 7 years on two different F-bodies, and they've never come loose. Trick is to tighten them down with a LONG breaker bar (about 3 feet long), as tight as you possibily can.

ok good im going with loctite, i hav some of the red stuff in my tool box, i will consider welding if they get loose, but i jus got my sfc, yea... =) and im picking up my powersteering cooler from PAW tomarow so yea i hav some things to install this week, o and i got some new goodyear belts too =)
