Default Anyone else have a sissy horn?

This is really dumb and insignificant but i'm just curious. I know i have a little toy horn, curious to see the majority.

You have two horns, but the low freq horn tends to go out. Not many f-bodies still have both working.

I always thought my horn had a very weak sound, atleast compared to the look of the car and the motor thats in it.

Yup. Replace that low horn and you'll be back in business.

I wondered why the horn in my wife's 02 Z sounded weaker than my 02 SS.

Mine sounded really gay - replaced low note that was not working - now it just sounds a little faggy. Still hate it.

This happened to my 2500HD when it was 2 years old. If you go to advance auto parts the horns that say "LOUD" and "Big Rig Sound" in a purple package are in fact, the same exact part that came on the truck. Down to the part numbers molded onto the shell. I believe they are a lot cheaper than an OE replacement. I don't know if they are the same as F-bodies but it is the snail shell design made out of black plastic.

+1, I've only used the one in my formula once was to test if it worked after trying it once and getting nothing. The one in my 95 doesn't work and I took the ones out of my 93. I find them very annoying and only necessary in extreme situations.

I almost got failed on my inspection because my horn sounded so bad. The guy was cool though and said he wouldn't fail me because of a horn.

Something is shot because mine sounds like a high pitched fart. Whenever I hit the lock button as I walk away from the car I laugh. My friends walk out of their house when I arrive, laughing, because they heard my car fart.

yea my horn sounds like crapola, i don't think anyone hears it when i do use it... so usually i just revv or give someone the finger... gets my point across.

if there was an easy plug and play louder horn for it i would do it though. i would love a train horn like i've seen on utube, but i dont want an air compressor in my car lol.
