that oil came out of my LQ4 build. The engine was in a 07 silverado that got totaled. The truck sat for a few months with no hood on it, and the throttlebody broke off in the accident. I think some water may have gotten into it. Do you guys think thats dexacool(cracked block!??) or water? i cant tell.

It's hard to tell from a picture, but it looks like bearing material.

Hard to say....it could be just moisture if it has been sitting. Does it smell like coolant?

take a magnet to it and swirl it around in the oil, hopefully theres not too much on it otherwise it could be a bearing. but from the pic it just looks like water or coolant which arent good things either
