ls2 in 2002 trans am ok i got a guy wanting to trade me either my ls1 or a regular 350 for a ls2 outa gto i was wondering if i should trade and how to tell if it is a ls2 outa gto and not out of a truck and if it would fit in my car

markings it WILL NOT say "ls2" on the front of the block by the water pump / IT WILL have a "6.0 L" cast into the block / weather its steel or aluminum
( but a steel block would be from a truck, yes )
