Default Just about to turn over the 100,000 mile mark.

I have 99,998 miles right now, I'm not too happy about it... Anyone want to buy it by Monday so I don't have to watch it roll over? lol. But I would need a new one by Tuesday...

The mileage is a mental and re-sale thing. If you wanted to sale this car and get good money for it the time has passed long ago so thats out the window don't worry about it. As for the mental side, people worry that the car is going to break due to high miles. If you maintain the car properly and service it correctly this high mileage phobia is not true. Don't get me wrong things will break and parts will wear but that also happens to new cars. So see this as a happy event that the car has made it to 100k and still going!

I'm probably going to end up taking a picture of it to tell you the truth, I'm just playing around. I have a lot of plans for the car, couldn't give it up now unless I found something I REALLY wanted.

I know what you mean. I sold my 01 Camaro z28 to buy my 01 T/A witch I sold also. The Camaro had 104k I got 7k for it, and I still miss that car today. I sold the T/A with 50k and got 15k for, and still miss the hell out of it. But I am also happy with my current rig too!

I was going to say...I don't know how much I would miss my car if I had a Z06. But then again, I have to have a 4 seater for my work, that's the real reason I bought this car when I did. Used to have a standard cab truck.

Yeah its like you don't miss the car so much as maybe you miss the big part of you that went with it. I can just think about those cars and they take me back to great and important times of my life. I don't want to sound like an old fart I am only 23 but the camaro was from 16-18 and the T/A from 18-22. You do a lot of growing up and learning in those years and a bunch of my growing up and learning was done in those cars.

I was 22 when I bought my first F-Body. I always wanted one, and the timing was just right for me to have to buy a car, so I went ahead and did it.

Yeah my brothers 94 4x4 S10 4.3 v6 has 386,000 miles, original engine/trans (knock on wood). He bought it when he was 16 as his first vehicle with 207,000 miles 8 yrs ago. And has run the **** out of the poor thing since then, driving back and forth to college everyday, 120miles round trip. And still his dd. Have ran mobil 1 5-30 since 250,000, and that fricken thing uses about 1/4 qt of oil, if that in 4000 miles (knock on wood again). Thats better than my 216,000 mile 4.3.

The poor thing is rusty as hell due to NY's 100% salt. But she owes us nothing, most every problem we've had has been because of abuse, or because we can't keep anything stock lol.

If I'm remembering what I've read correctly, the 01 and possibly 02 Z06's had a problem with eating oil. I know it was the 01, but I don't really remember if the 02 was the year that got better or 03.

Put some tape over your odo. You wont care about the miles anymore. It was a sad day for me pushing 60k. . . . I don't know if I will make 100.

Judging by your sig pic I have to say thats probably the first time I have ever heard a Vette referred to as a rig

Very nice by the way...love the quarter panel stripes.

96 bird cracked 118,200 miles today.
02 WS6 has been 52,103 all winter...took it out the other up to town and back so now its at 52,112

Dont ask me why I remeber these but I just notice and remember I guess.
