how do i know if i got slack in my throttle cable? How do I know for sure if I've got slack? When I was under the hood cleaning today I applied slight pressure on the cable and it felt loose. I was able to bend it easily. I'm a newb, not much car experience really. Do you guys think I may have some slack based on my description? I tried to do a search but it ain't working. If I do got slack how do I fix this? Is there a write up somewhere perhaps? Thanks fellas

No need for a bump 20min later. 
Get a buddy to jump in your drivers seat and floor the gas with the engine off. See if the tb hits the bump stop.
