Something I found about gas... I thought this was interesting.
I don't know what you guys and gals are paying for gasoline.... but

I knew about the filling up in the morning thing... but the low setting on the pump makes a lot of sense! Unfortunately there are no sunoco stations in my area 
so shell is pretty much my only option for clean gas...
so shell is pretty much my only option for clean gas...

yea someone posted that on one of my other sites and said it originated as a myspace bulliton...lol sounds pretty much like BS to me, and I thought BP and ammaco were pretty much the same thing or at least co owned. Why would one import a ton of oil and the other not import any. And im with fccs for how much that actually helps Id rather just spend the .0005 cents more get my gas quick and call myself a baller. Also most of the gas tanks are burried undergroud like 10 feet if I remember right, and the temps dont change as drastically that far underground. The only decent part of that whole this is if you see a refueling truck to go somewhere else b/c I can imagine when they pour that in the tank it can stir up dirt and crap at the bottom

The part about fill up when you have atleast a half tank is BS too. Yes gas does evaporate very quickly, you can see the fumes rise from a puddle on a hot day. But your gas tank is a sealed system, when there's pressure in the tank from the gases, it uses the EVAP system to burn those vapors in your engine too. So you're not losing gallons of gas due to evaporation.

The original post is just internet Spam. My hat is off to Dave 96TA for actually checking it out on Snopes. I do that with every 'helpful' e-mail and most of them turn out to be manufactured and false, or only partly true.
