I assume you mean a catback. How loud do you want to be? Do you plan on getting headers? I love my hooker catback ($319 at the WS6store) but it is kind of quiet so I'm currently running open cutout.

summit universal 3 inch x pipe. $95. dynomax bullets $80 for a pair. let the exhaust shop take care of the rest. turndowns, out the back, tips, no tips, over the axle under the axle....the rest is up to you.

I like the hooker that is hooked up with LTs and O/R Y and a cut out. You'll have the best of both worlds. You'll have a catback that is just quiet enough to creep around cops, but gets louder as you step into the throttle.
Then when you really want to me loud you can open that cut out. A Hooker Aerochamber catback and a cutout will be just slightly over $500....

I run the adjustable borla system and it sounds really nice if all you're looking for is a catback. It is stainless steel so it will last forever and is very durable (When fully open it's basically a cutout ). However, the tips aren't that great imo. But, it is great to have an adjustable sound and you can also buy an electric cutout for the adjustable plate part. If you're getting LT's and ory I'd go with magnaflow because borla gets very raspy w/o cats. Also if you're on a budget, borla is around $800 sadly.

Get your LTs, then get a X and mufflers of your choice. Are you including the price of your LTs in the 500$? You can not do full exhaust for 500$, even pacesetters will eat up almost all of that. Once you get the headers you can do a custom true dual from 500$ easy though. This was my T/A. It had Pacesetter Lts, TSP X and single chamber flowmasters. It had a great tone and was very loud, which is what you described that you wanted.

GMMG sounds nice and all, but not $750 nice. I paid $40 for an H pipe, $110 for 2 18 inch sweet thunder mufflers and $70 for the tips. The shop I went to charged me 200 to run it out the back and over the axle. So $200+$70+$110+$40=$420 and way better sounding any Y-pipe catback set up.
