Yea It should, kinda like the Napa Auto Parts truck Chip Foose did, that thing is bad ***. I've always wanted a S-10 LSX or Colorado LSX truck.

This guy down the street from me when I was a kid, had a 383 LT1 stroker I think in his late 80 early 90s S-10. Thing was sick

Personally, if I was doing a LS1 hybrid, a Colorado would be my last choice.

They come with the 5.3 now so it should be a very easy swap.

I almost bought a s10 with a lt1 with a TPI from a Vette.

A Colorado would be a bad *** truck with a LS motor.

Do it!

everyone and their mom has a LS1 pickup here in houston, or the better half of texas. pretty common. i love seeing hard camming trucks driving around at the meets. even TBSS sound nasty here. sence i'm from FL this wasn't a common thing for me so it's pretty badass to me.

That would be a pretty badass swap with a 6spd manual. What is the weight on these Colorado's anyway?

Like Sarge_13 asked........ anyone know what an average Colorado weighs?

Also, GM keeps threatening to put an LS motor in them, last I heard (again) for 2009. But with the gas situation, I wouldn't count on it.

how much does one of these things weigh? i personally would like to see this done to an older s-10...i think it's around the late 80's were the ones i thought looked the best.

either way, it'll be a pretty sweet swap i think

They are about 2200-2400lbs.
Me and a friend are currently putting a LQ4/4L80E into a '85 Square-body Blazer.
