hey i am thinking about getting these pulleys for my Z, any body have them? are they worth the money?

ASP is a very common and reputable pulley. i have heard great things.

Personally I like the SLP pulley as it has taller edges to keep the belt from slipping off

I've used ASP pulleys on many cars and never had one issue. I will always use them in the future.

I have the SLP pully and highly reccomend it. The ASP is also a big name, with a good reputation. I just like the SLP better. The ASP's had issues with the old design slipping belts. I heard they made a larger lip on the pully & the belts do not slip anymore.

I've got the ASP on my '99 SS. SLP on my '01 SS. They both work great with no problems. The SLP was PITA to install though.

I read the link he/you posted and saw that is says up to 13hp added, is that possible? i thought the most a pulley could add was like 5hp. so whats the truth? has anyone dynoed b4 and after just that mod?

Do UD pulleys make your car's systems more sluggish, i,e, is the power steering, ac, etc. less effective? Or do they function close to stock while taking less effort for the engine to drive them?
