How much will you pay???
Like I said how much will you pay for an M6 1999 Ram air Trans Am? It has 170k miles but the car is in very good shape.
paint is like a 7 out of 10
interior-8 out of 10
and mechanically is good overall.

though if it's had a lot of work done to it then maybe more. I mean if the guy has replaced the ac compressor, shocks, balljoints, rear end, trans rebuild, bearings, and all the major stuff, maybe worth more, but all original 170k is a lot of miles for those parts.

Yeah, I would have said less, but he rated the condition, mechanically and cosmetically on the higher end. Otherwise I would have said less. Hell mine has 100k miles and still books for like 13k private party value. Though vert adds some I'm sure, I think the market understands how desireable these cars are.

I think expecting to get an ls1 car that is in as good shape as this sounds, even with the miles, to expect to pay 4k (unless wholesale) is wishful thinking. Plus add the fact that it is a ws6 which raises the value, and an m6. If it was a base TA or formula, auto, with the body all beat up, then maybe 4-4.5k I'd guess, but for an m6 ws6 ls1 car in good shape, he can easily get well over 5k for the car I'm sure.
