Where to look for a WS6
I plan on buying a nice WS6 in near furture to use as my daily driver. Where are some good places to look online besides ls1tech, autotrader & ebay when I am ready to buy? I live in South Texas so I would really like to try & find something close by if possible. Thanks for any help!!!

I found my Trans Am on Auto Trader, For sale by a dealership. It was about 180 miles one way trip. After talking on the phone, and me listening to him on how the car had been on the lot for a few months, he knew I was serious about purchasing it after a couple of phone calls and emails. If it's a dealer that's far away, tell him one came up closer to home that's cheaper and they are willing to work with your finances better. They'll higher price one will cave, they *almost* always do.

Aren't the cams different in the 98's and the rod bolts weaker?
Not sure, but I'd stick with a newer one too. 01-02 will have the ls6 intake.
And don't be afraid to ask for a lower price on one. You never know if they are just asking a lot, looking for some sucker to pick it up.

Main difference between 98's and other years is that the 98's came with a difference PCM, its not better nor worse, along with a slighter bigger cam. Along with a few minor differences non of which would make me not buy a 98 if I got a deal on it.

Try and talk them down, i think that's a lil to much for the amount of miles the car has on it. search around, you'll find something out there in time. Cars.com or Autotrader are good. Got mine off Cars.com
