well the rearend and tranny will be going in the car this weekend (i hope) and that alone was $1100 for the tranny and $1000 for the rear. i would say i have 14-15k in the car. the nickle and dime stuff adds up quick with a car like this. the thing that kills me most is the labor i have in the car. getting the fans to work right and my nitrous kit wired was quite time consuming,

You can't swing not selling her? That's a hell of a car.

Makes me want to do the same with my red '96.

Nice car man, but I don't think you'll be able to get near what you put into it....why not just keep it while you're at school? Worried about dings and scratches?

Whats it like being a guy like yourself owning a car like that? Do you get a lot of flack for it or mostly good comments? I personally think that car is one cool car. + with all the time, money and labor you've invested into the car, I would find a way to keep it. If it's bought and paid for, buy something else! Good luck.

what would you need / expect for it?

one snag you'll run into with that (or any customed or swapped car) is that you gotta find someone with cash, because usually you can only get a loan for the value of the car as if it were stock (ie a v6 mustang from 94...)

Damn man you should have just got a fbody with the engine already in it, and saved lots-o-money.

But, why not just buy a really good alarm system for it (if you're worried about theft in the parking garage)?

$5 and I'll paypal you....

In all seriousness, you have a unique car that will take a unique buyer looking for it. You could probably get some serious coin for it if you are willing to wait it out

keep it!!!! it's a hell of a car! But if you must sell it, then 14K is a good price i think, but it will be a little challenging to find a buyer
