Default How do you keep the car straight at WOT?

Yesterday,I turned off the TCS and punched it at 20 mph.
Car spun so severely, it tried to go sideways and went into the left lane.
Dry road. Flat pavement.
What's the cure?

I all add to the above post... traction. All you need is traction. How you get it is up to you. Suspension, tires, chasis etc. If you don't have them already, try some LCAs and PHB for starters.

I hold the wheel straight. But in reality i have alot of suspension work done so i spin very very little in first and second gear even with 4.11s. So good tires would be in order along with some suspension if you deem it necessary

when i first got my car (17) I took it to a local school parking lot and would whip it around corners trying to loose control, id drive it in the rain and in all kinds of weather so i got used to how it would react and how to control it. One time i remember pulling outof a car wash, and trying to jump in the highway the car got rrrrrreal sideways and i was totally unprepared, but because i used to whip my car around back in the day i was able to keep it under control and not crash into the ford dealership, allthough there were some mustangs there that maybe i shouldhave taken out.

Suspension, tires, and knowledge of how to apply the throttle in your car in specific situations. Some cars simply aren't going to hook from a 1st gear roll on 17" wheels, so you have to know how to squeeze that throttle just right.

I don't have a problem going straight at WOT in my current car or my last car (427RWHP Trans Am). Both are 6-speeds and I'll slide a tiny bit on the 1-2 shift but nothing else.

I can't get my tires to break loose. Serious statement. I get a tiny chirp at 1-2 if I slam it at 5500+. But on the highway I pull on other similarly modded f-bodys so whatever. Saves me tires anyways.
