They probably mean that it'll run decent once installed, like long tubes do, even though a tuned is preferred. Those cams also has a high lsa like the stock camshaft does, 118, most aftermarket cams will be slightly lower then that.

435 fwhp = what? 400 rwhp. (still bs with that baby cam)
CAM ONLY! 400 rwhp with that "baby cam" is still BS! Especially w/o tuning!

I think what he was getting at is that the LS6 was rated at 405 to begin with. So it's a little more believable to pick up 30 hp instead of 80 to 100 with a LS1. But either way, not very likely to be sustainable. It is after all Edelbrock and they have a little bit of a reputation to uphold, so they must've done a little testing first.

werdd....there is a sponser advertiseing the package for 550+ shipping, def seems like a waste of money! unless ur somebody who wants a baby cam, and wants to get their hands dirty and do it urself withput a tune mayb? idk
