Default Z28 or SS?
Does anyone know if it can be determined whether the car is a Z28 or SS from just the vin #? Any other recomendations other than checking codes on door?

SLP can tell you using the last 4 or 5 numbers of the VIN. Otherwise it's just the WU8 door code.

slp sticker on the door jam
get the full vin call slp
also other sticker on door jam ss code = wu8 ^^ is right i was thinking 3:23 gears = gu5
