Default Lookin at a 98 Z28 Tommrow.. Need some help!

I'm looking at a Z28 tommrow. Its got a pretty low price - $4900, but its got about 140K on the odometer. Orange, T-Tops, ZR1 wheels, SS Hood, true duals, pasesetter long tube headers, halo lights, and SLP air intake. Has typical wear n' tear on the body for a car with 140K miles on it. The tranny was rebuilt at 110K miles.

The owner said that the car has a minor skip at idle, causing it to jump between 700 & 900 rpms. he also said that the service engine light was on due to the MAF sensor and O2 sensor.

With the O2 & MAF sensors being bad, how should it drive so I could tell that that is actually the problem? What will happen?

What could also be causing the RPM's to go up and down like that? And could a tune fix that?

Thanks,
- Mike

ALSO, how does the price sound for the car?

Take it to autozone and get the codes scanned for free
A bad maf can cause idle problems, no big deal you can get a used one on here for $30-$60

Beats me man, a bad O2 shouldnt make that much of a difference
A bad maf can make it run rough

Its nothing thats going to do serious harm to the car on a short drive

Scan the codes and go from there
