never heard anyone attempt this, but if you have access to a machine shop i dont see why not? I would think there would be some fab work. Did you just happen to run across a free set of headers? if not i wouldnt bother with it.

Anything is possible, but for all practical purposes, no. The flanges are probably all that's the same.

Just sell those and buy some F-car headers.

My Thoughts exactly. Just sell them for a lower price to the Corvette guys(will love the Corvette tax break) and then get some Fbody ones. Not worth your time to fab them.~Cole~

The design is much different. I would have to say no. There is not much room to work with under the F-body.

even if you could fit headers designed for the vette on the fbody, it aint going to sound like a vette. you can put any LT header on an LS1 fbody weather it be kooks, pacesetter, stainless works etc...... its the catback, presence of cats, lack of cats, x pipe, y pipe, muffler choice etc.....those determine the sound and pitch.

Original is hard to come by when original is mostly expensive or challenging to fabricate.

I would like to know the answer to this as well. I pondered the idea when I put an ls1 in my third gen. The area that I think the won't fit is at the collector. The vette oil pan is not as deep as the fbody, and the front of the torque tube is a lot smaller than a t56 or 4l60...and that's where the collectors come together to run the duals down the middle of the vette.

exactly. The headers have nothing to do with the Vette's sound. It's the perfect true dual exhausts that they have

that does play a big part in it but take a corvette and camaro and put them side by side, both open headers and they will sound totally different.

Pacesetters here too!!!! Mine are the Lts into a ORY right into a single cutout into a flowmaster catback which is pretty quiet when the caps on the cutout!!!

It's the complete system which causes the difference in sound. Length and shape of the headers, placing of the cats or lack off, length from the cats to the x or h, length from the x or h to the mufflers, length of pipe from muffler to tip. Change any of those and you will change the sound. Tunning exhaust for different sound can be very tedious.

100% agree

Everyonce in a while you hear a sick sounding fbody and its all custom exhaust work and not just the usual exhaust stuff
