I stayed with my LT1 crowd for a while, but I've always wanted an LS1. I jokingly posted my LT1 on craigslist and forgot about the ad. Two months later some woman wants to buy it and she loved the car and bought it. I looked around for the last 6 days and this guy just posted his car yesterday on craigslist. Went over and looked at it, had some paint blemishes but overall, its a solid car: no leaks, rattles, whistles, drives real quiet and smooth (something I'm not used to at all coming from an lt1). So I bought it and it was good on the 1.5 hour drive back. Just have to get it registered today so I can drive it all around .

Congrats man. At least you had a LT1 first. I turned 16 had a V6 94 Camaro, and waited for what seemed to be forever to say I had an LS1 car. But finally when I turned 18, I got the loan and bought my 2000 Z28.

You're lucky. My first car was a 95 buick lesabre, had that for a little then got a old 85 monte carlo ss, put a motor and a ton of work into it and didnt like it so i sold that, got my lt1, waited another two years sold that and now got my ls1 its been worth it though (now im 21... ive had a few cars haha)

lmao! i had a 1981 datsun 280zx. i thought it was fast at 16. until i got introduced to a v8 via my 95 eldorado etc, woo 300hp/295tq northstar baby, and thought that was fast. until approx one year ago. cammed and geared 98ss. it gave fast a whole new meaning. its going to be hard to top. if its even possible.

No one is got anything on my first ride. 1984 Firebird with a 4 cylinder < That's right a 4 banger in a Firebird.

I still got it to burn the tires with my mighty 4 speed trans. Man that car was POS.
