Default Need help on pricing my car part out *possible, feeler, unsure yet*

So after seeing gas prices sky rocketing, my need for a daily vehicle, and not able to put my project together until another couple of months I may come down to parting out my turbo project which has been 6 *horrible* months of my time, effort, and now exhausted funds.

Curious on what prices I can get out of it *maybe?* Keep in mind I may not part the car out this is a feeler and curious on suggestions.

What I would part out is the whole car so maybe some people can chime in on what prices they would suggest?

The engine is a fully forged 370 CI LS1 for boost, has a nice 228/228 cam and ported 6.0L heads, compression ratio is at 8.8. This engine was built by VA Speed and claimed it could see 1100-1200 hp no problem. This is a complete, ready to drop in. Never turned over or started. Has 60 lbs injectors and LS6 intake. Also take into account all the accessories, seals, etc that it has.

Also have a performabuilt stage 3 *warrantied up to 800 whp* 4L60E transmission with a Hughes 3600. The transmission cost me 2700 and the converter was about 900-1000.

Also have some custom twin turbo headers fully wrapped, and 4 core intercooler.

Have a Dark metallic blue SS hood and wing, no scratches or dents from what I can see.

4 SS Zr1 chrome rims, front have Nitto 555s and rears have Nitto 555rs, lots of tread left.

Also have the whole car, no dents or scratches, I would say interior is 9/10 and looks almost brand new cloth. I figured i could sell the chassis for around 2500-3000.

so maybe some help guys? thanks

Usually about 1/3 of what you paid for it is what you can expect to get back.
Personally I'll pay $6700 for a new one from the people who built it before I pay $5500 for the same thing someone is walking away from. Especially after saying it's taken 6 *horrible* months of your time.
The price on the rolling car sounds about right I GUESS since you never did say exactly what year and type f body it is.
Edit: Plus the words *possible, feeler, unsure yet* tells me you think you're going to knock a hundred or two off $6700, and be otherwise tight and upset by lowballers. I'd rather buy everything new than deal with that.

well the engine was built in the beginning of march and shipped to me at the end of march, i meant the whole project has been 6 months.

no way in hell i would just knock off 200-300 dollars the possible feeler was in i am unsure if im going to part out or not.

I was thinking 6500-7000 for the whole assembled engine including all accessories, injectors, fuel rail/ls6 intake, sensors, seals *all of those things add up*.

2300 for the tranny/stall

500 for turbo headers

500 and 250 for ss hood/spoiler

just unsure on if those prices are fair and reasonable.

my car is a 99 camaro z28

That seems reasonable. Just put up pics and go for it, you can always lower your price, if you hit the bottom and no one buys then maybe you'll consider to keep going on the project.
The price on the trans and converter seems good already, don't really need pics for that. But the rest it's hard to say without seeing it all.
Are you sure you gave up on it long enough to see it all go?
