well, i dont know, when my dad used to drive it when we first got it, he'd get only 200 miles a tank, now that i drive it, i've gotten 225 on a tank (not full) which isnt too bad considering i go as fast as i can every day. I can count 4 times this past month that i can remember where my spedo was down at the little bar past 155, but hey, i'm only gunna live in germany and experiance the Autobahn like this one!

Same driving and all. I went down from 13-14mpg with just lid/tb,cutout to around 10-11mpg with LT, ORY and ls6 intake. Its pretty bad.

i gained 1-2 mpg on my old car when i installed a cutout on my stock exhaust.

anythign to make the engine more effiecient will theoretically boost mpg.

IF you can keep your foot out of it.

hell i just got 256mi out of a tank and only 1/3 of that is what i would call "highway"....and that was only 55mph.

the rest was <10mile trips around town.

worked out to 19.7mpg with the cam...not shabby

Get full exhaust. It will be helping your car breathe better and in turn not have to work as hard. It shouldn't take away too much mpg. Full exhaust will be worth it anyways.

I don't feel like going with headers just yet. Too many bad experiences with my other cars. Plus I like the quiet stock exhaust (yeah i know, i'm one of the few). My last car, the LT1 firebird, was loud so this is a nice break from all that noise. At most, I'd do a cut-out for the track or whenever I feel like being obnoxious. As for intake, I'm thinking lid and ported tb. I already have the LS6 intake so that might help me a little.
