Congrats, we just had our first child and she is amazing. I just put the base in the back of my Camaro the other day (my daughter will be one week old tomorrow) and it looks like it will be a tight fit. I haven't tried putting the rear facing seat in yet, but based on how it sets in my wifes car, there isn't going to be much room for the front passenger in the Camaro. I'll see if I can try putting the seat in tomorrow and see how it goes.

Yeah I got a 2 year old and my g/f going to have another any day now. Gonna be hard since it's the only car I got. Nothing ever is behind me but now there will be. But since they are bucket seats the bases don't fit right. Kinda misshapes the seat like a table or something does that's been in the same spot on carpet forever. There might be some that fit but I haven't found any.

The bases dont work in f bodies... i have two kids. one is 2years and one is 3 months. My 2 year old sits in a forward facing car seat(thank god cause it gives more room) my 3 month old is in a regular car seat with no base. we are fine because my wife and i are both 5 foot 6. so thats about the tallest you can be before it starts to get crunched. And my kids love my car... the exhaust note puts them right to sleep

never had a car seat in one of these cars, but i wonder if you would have more room taking out one of the back seats? just a suggestion.

Our infant car seat would not work with a passenger. It required the front seat to far forward for someone to sit in it. She is now 7 months old and is in the forward facing seat with 5 point harness. Works fine and the front seat is all the way back.

You may be SOL until your baby can sit upright.

lol You could always take the back seat out and fashion up some brackets for the car seat.
