Default Cut-outs....how many do I need?

Alright, sorry to keep making threads but I always have new questions. I am about to purchase some Pacesetter LT's, a Texas Speed ORY, and I want cut-outs. If I go with the set-up I just mentioned, do I need 2 cut-outs, one for each side of the Y? Or just get 1 and put it where the Y comes together and meets the exhaust?

my opinion, just get one e cut out, and put it on the i pipe, i would reccommend taking the 3in pipes from the headers to a big 4in collector to a 4in cutout and then to a 3in catback, but just my opinion im sure many will disagree with me

I would love an E-Cut out, but they are pretty expensive, and please explain more about the 3'' pipe to the 4''. My understanding for my set-up is:

3'' outlet on the LT's, into a 3'' inlet on the Y pipe, to a 3'' exit into the exhaust.

i had a manual cut-out on 2 different fbodies, and trust me it was a pain...yes an e-cut-out is a lil bit more money but trust me it will b worth it...im getting one nxt month...just get one e-cut-out and out it in the i-pipe....two manual cut-outs would b a major p.i.t.a...having an electric one is the best, quite whn u want it to be, or loud as hell at the flick of a switch

Buy one 3" cutout. DMH. Put it under the back passengers seat. Nice spot. Little rubber gromet to run your wires thru. 4 year warranty. Works great. Raises hell on demand. Say no more!

I have one manual cutout in the I-pipe. Works like a charm. People say it is a bitch to have a manual one. My solution is to never put the cap back on. lol

For your setup 1 cutout would be good. Two cutout would be good for a true duals and placed after the X pipe.

I would also go with and electric cutout, you wont regret it.

theres nothing better then having it closed, pull up to a light with someone who wants to race and open it up after a few revs, the look on their face is priceless

I was just looking at prices at e cut-outs, and its a no-go for now. I have other things I would like to spend $500-600 on. I'd love to have one, but its not worth it to me right now.

Arent there cut-outs where you run a cable from the cut-out to inside the car, and when you want it open you just pull the cable and it will slide it open? My friend was telling me about cut-outs like that, and if worse comes to worse i'll just get one with the wing nuts.

$500-600 you must be lookin at duel cut outs from qtp.... for a single if you shop around you can get one for about $200-$300 I forget where but theres one site that sells them for 239 for duel cutouts, you just have to buy the pipe, which is like $30 from jegs
