Ok.
1- Calm down and take an hour or two to cool off.
2- Find out what size the head of the bolt is (I think it's either 8mm or 10mm but I can't quite remember)
3- go buy a wratcheting wrench in that size (or a whole set if you have the money). Also a wratchet with a wrist works as well but it takes some patience (or at least it barely worked when I did mine)
4- use the tool accordingly.
You're gonna have to take about three cool off breaks to keep from screwing up the connector since GM left us very little cable to play with.
Good luck.

Not sure what the big deal is here.
I've replaced a couple alternators on these cars, the only hard part is wiggling the alt. out around the sway bar. It's a little more difficult on the cars with a PS cooler since the lines run right in the way. Not that bad though. But I've never had an issue with any of the bolts. Pretty easy repair, IMO. Changing #8 plug is much more difficult.

ok, i got a friend to help and we finally got the bolt out. hell slidding it out was actually pretty damn easy i thought. As faras the PS pump goes, i am lost. I've talked with a few people, and no one has ever heard of this happening.

? I've changed mine over 4 times (3times using autozone... last time said f*ck it and spend 350 at gm) I can change an altenator on these cars in like 20-25 minutes. Its not that hard But like someone said, Be careful with the connector... Gm should of added like 2 ft, to that damn wire! haha. Hopefully you figure it out!
