Default Weird problem here....

Coming back yesterday from a 3hour trip, I felt like I was getting an occational hard miss in my SS. During the trip it got worse and I began to notice that everytime the car would buck, the temperature guage would swing back and forth between 100 and 210. So the miss is directly related to the guage. I unplugged the coolant temp sensor and looked it over, plugged it back in and now the car is fine. Just looking for a little direction in case it starts to act up again.

Sounds to me like your loosing ground to the engine..check your battery cables and ground straps if you have one...I had an Lt1 melt the whole battery cable off had came loose in the little red junction box I know you are a little different setup but same problems That is where I would look.

The stalling could be due to a bad coolant sensor. This is a good general article on coolant sensors and testing them: http://www.wellsmfgcorp.com/pdf/Counterpoint2_2.pdf
