Default Can some identify this sound?

I have this weird grinding noise coming coming from what looks to be right behind the alternator. I tried spraying everything with wd40 to see if it would stop but nothing helped. I also just replaced the belt with a gatorback and am gonna be putting in a new tensioner assembly as well as a new idler pulley. This sound is driving me nuts so any ideas would be helpful. Heres a clip:

Sounds like the spindle sorter on the sludge pump is on the way out to me

That sound could be anything it kinda sounds like an exhaust leak right at the head bu who knows. If you thinks its the alt then maybe the bearings are gone. Sounds are the number one source of confusion amongst phantom diagnosis so if your not sure take it in to a decent mech and have em take a look at it

Yeah an exhaust might be it... It literally sounds like its coming out of the motor mount, so maybe the manifold gasket is bad?

This whole things has been weird, I took it to a good shop and they said try the tensioner and idler, and then autozone sells me a bad tensioner ***. (dayco - pos) which snapped and the water pump started leaking. It leaks here and there, not all the time which is strange and I couldnt see exactly where the leak was coming from. I think the water pump is done for but this sound in the clip is a different sound. Isnt the ac tensioner on the pass. side? I sprayed down each pulley one at a time and the sound was still there... like I said it sounds like its coming from directly behind the alternator.

Thanks guys and if any of you are near LA and willing to take a look let me know.

Invest $7 in an automotive stethoscope and locate the noise yourself.
Best diagnostic tool ever, next to a scanner.

Okay just pulled and replaced the water pump, idler pulley, tensioner assembly, And the sound it still there. Im thinking maybe a broken rocker arm or lifter. Anyone else got any ideas?
