Default Couple questions about 02 Sensors...

How do you know if an 02 sensor is bad, will it throw a code on an OBD1 car?

Is it a good idea to change them, car has 124k and I don't know if they have ever been changed.

Am I correct in thinking a bad 02 will make the car run rich?

Thanks in advance.

if you don't know when it was changed last, just change it.

car will run leaner and gas mileage will be lost... id recommend in your situation being it has 124,000 miles id go get some bosch part # 13111's and be done with it they are the corvette sensors and they work great on mine.
