My drivers side door handle broke. After tearing the door down, I found that the metal rod that hooks around the door handle itself, has a plastic piece that fits over the end that keeps it attached to the door handle. This plastic piece has broken. does anyone know the part number or where I may be able to find a replacement?

Ouch. I would say junkyard. Get one out of any GM car that looks similar. I doubt you are going to find that one any other way....
