Default Throttle body related problem?

Maybe not necessarily a problem but here it is. The kid who had the car before me put an 80mm throttle body on the car. The gas pedal feels kind of heavy, takes more force to push in, and is harder to feather when starting from a dead stop. I was told that the throttle body contributes to this with the tension on the cable. Is this true?

the pedal may feel harder possibly from a heavier spring on the throttle plate?

clean the throttle body blade there might be a obstruction or something causing it to stick

Lube up the spring with some lithium grease or something similar.
