Default Window motor going out?

I did search and no one described a problem like mine.

If I use the express down on the drivers window it goes down. On the way back up it stops and makes an overload type click about 4 times before it's up all the way.

Otherwise I can power it down until it's about 2" from bottom and power it closed 20 times and it never cuts out.
Should I just get a motor?

Replacing the motor would be the cheapest option. Get the window motor from Autozone or any other place that offers Lifetime Warranty.

sounds like the track seems to be falling out of place and forcing back on, take out the panel and check out the track sliding area or could also be a messed up gear.

Even if it goes up and down real smooth? The clicking is an electrical overload tripping off.

Ya, had that problem with my 93 cadillac, it would click cause the motor is going out, mines would work sometimes then it just completely stopped. Went to the junk yard and found a newer one, put it in and works perfect.
