Question what is this for?

whats up everyone? the title say's it, i was changing the coolant elbows and broke a wire. this wire runs from behind the alternater(not from the alternator) to what i think the throttle body. wanted to know where can i get this part, and is it important to the engine. i took some pics so you guys know what im talking about. thanks

Looks like thats part of the PCV system.

did you get the elbows installed ok?... any leaks?

yes, the elbows were installed ok. no there was no leaks. it was a real pain though took me the whole day to install them. anyways thanks coryprine for helping me out you saved me 200 dollars, what my mechanic was charging me that punk. 5 bucks a couple of cuts and brusses is not bad. just need to fix that vacuum hose and im got to go. thanks again.
