Default OBD 2 Trouble

i keep connecting my OBD2 to my 2001 SS Camaro
and its not linking up i'v connected it to other cars and it links up the moment i put it in, any body having this problem is my connection loose are burnt out please my Service Engine Soon is on and i cant find out thanks....

Pretty sure the OBDII port is on the same circuit as the cigarette lighter. Check the fuse for that.

Yep, check the CIG/ACCY fuse.
