Default Anyone have their high beams stuck on ?

Just bought this 98' SS a couple weeks ago & love it. Was driving it tonight & thought I'd try out the High beams. They clicked on , but when I tried to turn them off , the switch would move where it should to turn them off but there was no "click" sound. The lights would not turn off. Everything else on the switch works but that.
I'm going to pull it apart in the morning but I thought I'd ask you guys for similar experiences & get a handle on it before I tore it apart.........

The rod could of slipped out due to the high beam switch being too far down the column. It is hard to get to but possible. It is a hex bolt and a flat head screw.

Right on . Did not seem like it was to far down the column but it was a PITA to get to. I reinstalled it & it works. Ordered a new spare just in case it gives up the ghost on me.
Now I gotta fix "Squeaky" the passenger side seat & we are all good .....
Think I'm gonna replace them with 6LE's leather seats ...... just gotta find or fab brackets.
