Default Car keeps breaking starter!

So last week my car wouldnt start so we checked the starter and it was broken where one of the bolts goes into. So we swaped it out with one from autozone and it worked fine for about two days then it happened again! Broken in the same place. So frustrated here, any idea what could be causing this? Thanks guys

And make sure you torque it down properly. if not, you can put too much stress on the housing and it could snap off

I had the exact same thing happen to the 408 i had in my truck. Broke about 4 of them and couldn't figure it out, until one day it became very evident. Ended up hydrolocking when i tried to start it one day and busted a rod instead of the starter.

An autozone starter is just a refurbished OEM unit. Its true that the electric parts they use aren't always the best quality, but in this situation it shouldn't make a difference.

Leaking fuel injector could cause an engine to Hydrolock & brake the starter.
