Default Headlights going up and down when locking

Does anybody know what would cause my headlights to go half way up and then back down again when I lock the car using the fob???

I know they do this when the gears are bad but mine are not grinding and seem to work fine????

mine did the same and my headlight motor gears werere worn out. disconect the arm from the side of the motor. rotate motor 180 degrees via the **** on the top. you do this because the motor only uses 180 degrees of the gear, and the other half remains un used reattach arm. this fixed mine. its not a permanent fix like the brass gears, but its free.

Actually this is normal. My car started to do this after I pulled the battery for a while. In the owners manual you can change the lock mode. There is one that flips the headlights and honks. I have mine turned off so when I lock my car it doesn't honk or flip the lights. You have to put the key in and turn it 3 times and then do something else to go through the modes.
