well i didnt intentionally stumble upon this conversion, but im assuming its an lt1 piece since its like 30% thicker than the stock piece and it has an extra hose connection in the bottom drivers side that i cant get to seal completely for now. i guess ill just stick a bolt into the end of a section of hose and clamp it, and clamp the other end onto the port. anyways i was seeing if anyone on here has seen any improvement in operating temps with the increased capacity.
also i has the car facing up my inclined driveway and the front on jackstands. so would it be safe to say i didnt drain all the coolant, and the 8 quarts it took is ok? i let it run for like 15 mins (sorry bitchy *** neighbors LMAO!) with the cap off and squeezed both hoses repeatedly to try to burp the system, and the gauge stayed at around 180ish.
